    Founder of the Elephant Clinic.

I’m Ali Poursafa, a pediatric occupational therapist with over 10 years of experience supporting children and families across schools, homes, and private practice settings.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with a wide range of developmental, emotional, sensory, and learning challenges. My goal is always the same: to help families feel understood, supported, and hopeful—while giving children the tools they need to feel capable, confident, and secure in who they are.

Families often share that they feel a sense of familiarity and trust from the very beginning. I believe meaningful progress happens when children feel safe, parents feel informed, and therapy feels like a partnership, not a checklist.

Over the years, I have worked directly with more than 30 schools across the GTA, along with before and after school programs, private clinics, and families in their homes. I have also collaborated closely with teachers, educators, and families to help children succeed across the environments that matter most in their daily lives.

Having the opportunity to support children in school, home, clinic, and community settings has given me a well-rounded understanding of how children function, learn, socialize, and build independence throughout the day. These experiences allow me to create practical, meaningful, and individualized support that carries over into real-world environments where children play, grow, and participate in everyday life.
